Default problems on a series I?

i am thinking about adding a series I to my garage, but am wondering what problems i could expect on a 1971 xj6. I know there will be some normal issues that ill have to fix. I just want to know if there will be any big issues to deal with, and if it will be worth it.

Worth it is a relative term....I'm sure you know what I mean.

Carbs can be a headache. Will have most of the same problems as a Series 3 with suspension stuff. Body parts and trim can be very tough.

I just started a series 1 XJ6 1971. The struamberg Carbs need to have the oil filled and rebuilt.. Those r a pain. The wire system is crazy thus far. I am currently replacing the entire wiring system with a Harness system from online removing ALL lucas from the car.. Alot of work Yes but no hassles for the future
