I know this said up to the year 92, not sure which other forum to post this in though. We have a 1993 Jaguar XJ6 that will not start or crank. When you first insert the key, the lights come on, but as soon as you turn it the lights go off. All accessory features work such as the sunroof, windows, power seats, etc. The battery is definitely charged. It sounds like the fuel pump is engaging. The starter is not engaging. The car phone turns on and says “Locked”. No lights on dash. Doesn’t even click when you crank it. Radio hasn’t worked well since we bought it, we’ve been “locked out” of that for the most part.
We just replaced the gas tank and lines, had like 2 good drives where everything seemed fine, then tried to start it today and this started happening.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
