Progress and next tasks
Well I finally got the fuel cutover switch replaced. That was a real challenge. It was tough to access it and then the metal tabs wouldn't release. Also I had to tighten the pin sockets so the fuel gauge wouldn't keep dropping to empty from vibrations. Also found the main exhaust leak and patched it, and found a pinhole further back. So I'll get to that in the next day or so.
Finally I hooked my horns back up after tracing everything and replacing the relay. Horn worked. For a few minutes. Now the relay doesn't even click. So frustrating...

Sun can beat these cars down to dust. And, vinyl seats are no fun unless one has long pants on. My days of wearing shorts is long gone, but still, that hot leather isn't fun.
So, a carpet style mat for the dash top. A terry cloth towel for the steering wheel. And soft jersey fits on to the seat.
And, those aluminized windscreen shields are very effective.
Not to mention, find shade whenever possible.
Most morning chores done.
Off to errands, in the Jaguar, of course!!
