radiator fan switch ....
My 1974 Panther has a Series II engine, but was not equipped with electric fans. A previous owner added a pusher fan to the front of the radiator but used a manual switch.
Since I'm going to rewire the car anyway, I would like to use the factory switch (part number ??), unless it's so unreliable that I should do something else.
Where does it install? I have the mickey-mouse secondary throttle intake manifold system (the secondary throttles are disappearing and being replaced with sleeves).

On my Ser III XJ6 the fan switch (DAC3061) was radiator mounted (right side radiator tank, down low). I'm nearly positive the Ser II would be the same.
On my V12 XJS the switch was a different style and located in the water pump housing.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

There are a lot of ways to control fans. Many after market vendors have kits to do it.
I favor one, my son! Contact me on line for more.
