Default Radiator Plug

How do the TWO PINS on the radiator's temperature plug work, they are separate i.e. not connected in any way, so what would they need to do their job? I assume power travels in one and out other and is cut off / on when the radiator reaches a given temperature.

Default

They "contact" when the temp reaches the set temp.

Cold, as in your hand, NO circuit.

They generally switch the earth circuit.
