Recommendations for e-fan controller?
I have twin electric cooling fans on my XJ6 in place of the stock setup. For the 2nd time in a year, a Hayden 3647 fan controller has gone bad. It's not the relay, it's the switch itself each time. They are covered under warranty, but still a pita to take the time to swap out.
Can anyone recommend a controller they've had luck with? The Hayden controller has a radiator probe and also is wired into the fan clutch so the fans come on anytime I use the a/c. Is there a controller that would wire into the thermostatic switch in the radiator and also the fan clutch? I'd also be interested in a setup that would keep the fans running after shut off until reaching the desired temp.
Thanks for any input.

re: electric fan controller
I used the 2sp model from here: Relay Controllers and Accessories
on our XJS to control the Lincoln MKIII 2 speed fan I mounted. Been going a few years without problems, initially I did try using a maxi-fuse on the power supply to it, and it worked but the amount of current going through it melted the plastic holder. I went to a metal circuit breaker with screw terminals and have no complaints.
