Most of you will know the answer to this so hopefully I will get an answer quickly as I'm supposed to be picking these up tomorrow morning.
Are series 2 tail lights the same as series 1 tail lights ? By all images I can find they look the same. I got a set of series 1 lights last week off a wreck(chrome pitted and lenses faded a bit),but these series 2 lights look like new so if they fit I will go with them and sell the other set.
So if series 2 fit my car and you are interested in a fair condition set of series 1 lights I will part with them.

Hi Grant, Bugga is he right word, I've been missing this since I started driving in 1983.
Would have bought a jag then instead of 30 other cars. Had a $12000 problem with a 2002
X-type(V6 3 litre) I talked my Mother in Law into buying in 2004. Turns out it missed a recall and needed trans replaced,jag ended up paying half as she had it serviced at a dealer and they should have recalled it anyway.... Me living the dream on my wifes inheratance (lol).
I will go with the lights as they do look the same and if I'm wrong,it won't be worst decision I've made. Can't tell you about that one!
