Series 3 Under-hood/Engine compartment Decals
Does anyone have a source for all those decals/stickers that grace the engine compartment, such as the one for the brake fluid and the tappet clearances plus all those others that seem to disappear over the years? Ian
You could also shop here for originals--not reproductions. https://www.ebay.com/str/coventryfou...at=68713882013

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I went to Terry's (Kalamazoo MI) and was about to place an order for 6 decals (total cost $40 US). At checkout the cheapest shipping to 45 minutes from Toronto, Ontario, was $45US! That's all of 575Km (350 miles). Contacted them and they said "Sorry, that's our shipping policy"!
Now the decals would weigh all of nothing, and put into perspective, I can get an alternator shipped from RockAuto in Wisconsin (450 Miles) for $25 US!
Needless to say I'll be shopping elsewhere. Come to think of it, I believe this has happened to me before when trying to use Terry's.

Ian,
call again and talk to Brad, tell him to put decals in a letter envelope and mail them for under $5.00,
Unless you were ordering a heavy part with the decals, $45. is absurd.
Having said that, the Post Office charged me $33.00 to mail the package to you.

Further to my last post here, I searched out a US shop that put up some videos on resleeving a Jaguar 4.2 block.

The block had the cracks between bores, and this shop removed the existing liners and installed lipped liners. You can see the machined coolant passages at the sides of the bores when the liners are removed. The cracks start at the top of the upper cooland passage, and work their way up until they get to the deck of the block
