I have a new project car and none of the keys fit the trunk lock. The chrome ring around the lock spins but the trunk won't open. I live 2 hrs from anywhere and I need to know if there's any tricks or ways to get it open.

Not sure about older models but on the Series III cars you can remove the license plate and access the linkage rod with some skinny needle nose pliers through one of the license plate holes. It's been decades since I did this so there may be more to it than that.

Worth a look, perhaps?
