Default series3

can any series 3 owners advise how to remove the works from this electronic
speedo so I can zero the odometer

Default here ya go...

Remove Bezel, it twists off. The ring and glass will come off.
Remove the 4 flat head screws on the back side and mechanism will drop out.
Pull off dial indicator by hand or with home made tool.
Remove two small flat head screws that hold on the face.
Simply roll the numbers by pushing with your thumb. They will click but not break.
Reassemble
