Default Speedometer removal - RESOLVED

81 series 3 manual says to push in and turn clockwise for Rhd cars. Can't budge it. Any advise

You have to push and turn very hard. Don't give up.

Sometimes removing the warning light cluster (easy) allows your finger tips to get a better purchase on the edge of the speedo for better twisting.

As for the warning lamp cluster I recall that the blaster plastic part just pops off with a little help from a small scredriver and then the the cluster itself is held in with just two screws.

Cheers
DD

Good to hear you got it removed without any damage.

I've added "RESOLVED" to your thread title to help others looking for the same info.
