Question Starfish Wheels center cap removal

I bought my series 3 XJ6 with starfish wheels.
These originally came in alloy for the XJS, I believe.
The ones on my car were chromed poorly, as can be seen, and I got hold of a set of alloys, without caps.
The question: How easy do the center caps/badges come out, and what is the procedure?
Any help appreciated.

The center caps are just a gentle press fit. You can lever them out with a small tool.....which might mar the cap very slightly ... or, with the wheel removed, push them out with your finger

Cheers

Always best to remove the wheel and push out from the back side. The retaining rings can get sticky from road grime and be difficult to come free by prying; the risk of damaging the wheel, ring or badge is at play by prying.
