Default Steering wheel fitment

Hello all,
I have a 1995 Jaguar xjs convertible that I am going to scrap because I have run out of space to store it.
I am going to remove a few pieces from the car before it goes.
It has a running powertrain which I hate to see go but I have no choice.
I wish I had the space to remove and store it but that is not the case.
My question to all is whether the steering wheel from the '95 XJS will fit on my '84 XJ6.
I can't seem to find any info on this. Anyone knows?

Oh, me a running Jag to the crusher??? In a way it is a good thing, you are on the other side of the country..... Temptation against, that is exactly what I don't need, or do I!!!

As to the 95 to 84 swap. If the former has an air bag, it would greatly complicate things, but yet be doable.

If not, I suspect the answer is yes.

Why not try !!! Not a huge task to remove the one on the 84. I've not done it, but, came close.

That other thing, where????
lamp puzzle solution in progress. Parts, cleaned, primed and painted.
Sandwich order, not yet. Four parts to align. I've three of four resolved!!!

CAVEAT !!!!

Almost forgot. Removing a wheel with an air bag is complex and if not done correctly, is very dangerous.

Recent news on them has me doubting them a lot!!!

Carl: I will disassemble one of my headlamps and take some pictures of the re-assembly, so that you can see how its put together.

Thank you!

If it has an air bag, I'd pass. They have an explosive. Why one would want an explosive of any kind in a passenger cabin escapes me!!
