The stop light switch on my 1987 XJ6 seems to have stuck in the on position and burned itself out. Is there a good way to test it> I have it off the car. If it is ruined, where should I get a replacement? And, should the brake lights come on if the ignition switch is not turned on. I am used to cars where if you push on the brake pedal, the brake lamps come on.
