Transmission fluid borgwarner 66
is everybody using type f or g or are people using dexron? if using dexron are you using synthetic? Reason i ask is that i will be swapping out trannys in the next few weeks so will have an empty torque convertor able to do a total change over, in my more modern autos[zf4hp22 in landrover defender] ive had much better service life with syntheteic
I have used Syn in all mine for ages, even the old DG and BW12.
Like you, much better performance from the innards, and service life is an added bonus.
I still drop and refill annually. Less things to forget.

Nulon Multi Vehicle Full Synthetic Auto Trans Fluid.
OR,
Penrite Full Synthetic Multi Vehicle Auto Trans Fluid.
Whichever is on special at the time I need one.
Obviously an overkill for teh old school units, but I dont care, and the transmissions LUV it.
The US of A market is VERY different, and they seem to have all this old school spec stuff still readily avaiable, BUT, they dont have Nulon or Penrite, so we win.
