Transmission kicks into D and R
The over run spring is illustrated incorrectly in [at least many] Jag publications. As I recall it will only fit on way.
But, if yours was installed opposite of what's shown in the manuals, it's almost certainly the manual that is wrog.
If the gasket is still in good shape and doesn't leak, re-use it.

The hoses that connect to the air distribution block (ADB) actually connect to small pipes that insert into the ADB.
Is it recommended to put something like a dab of silicon sealer around the pipes before pushing them into the body of the ADB? I want to avoid any vacuum leak if possible.

For those....and the nipples on the throttle body as well... I use JB Weld
