What does the wiring color "Light" mean? Light what?
The wiring Diagram indicates that the "L" stands for "Light". Light what?
Wire should be LG. Light and Green? Light with Green Tracer?
According the the diagram when two letters used first is main color and second is tracer.

The "L" always refers to a lighter shade of the of the color immediately following. For instance.....
N = brown
LN = light brown
U= blue
LU = light blue
GN = green with brown tracer
LGN = light green with brown tracer
UR = blue with red tracer
LUR = light blue with red tracer

One of the reasons that my S57 jaguar schematic has helped me. It has the 'color code".
And the definition of the symbols.. Best schematic I've ever made use of...
The worst, the oe in the infamous Haynes publication...
Car,

Car,
Exactly

But "L" always means "light", will always be in the first position, and there's no usage of "medium" or "dark" ....so it isn't overly complicated. In practice reading the codes becomes second nature soon enough.
