Default Wire Wheels

OK...after watching the new bond movie last night, i decided that i must find one or two wire wheels to match my 3. Last new years, one collapsed on me. SO i went alloy. I check ebay all te time, but am weary b/c they all look like they were attacked by rust. When i see rust i see spokes snapping. Any idea where i can get my hands on a nice used pair? if you check out my garage, i have pics of my whip with the wires on. Something about the look that gets me.

i think one of my Jaguars(1975 XJ12C) had some unusual wheels!

lot more spokes and 1/2" wider, along with Factory splined, with knockoff nuts , car came with a copper and hide hammer.

looks like Dunlop wires and spinners, factory option if splined hubs. 'Thor' hammer was factory from 1959-on. Looks identical to my 1965 'S' type wires and I wouldn't doubt they are.

modern Dayton wire wheels are mounted with 5 lugnuts.

order a Heritage certificate from the JDHT and you might find out it the car was a special order with manual trans and wires.

Default wire wheels

If yours are true wires, that have a splined hub and knock off/on then there is a brand new set on ebay
you need to list car year and wheel size
