I recently bought a 1995 XJ12. The seller told me that the key would not open the trunk, but no problem because the electric trunk opener works fine, except when the battery is flat! Does anyone know how to get the battery charger hooked up without opening the trunk?

 

There are a couple of "+" voltage junctions posts in the engine bay so you can apply 12v to pop the trunk open with the button.
