Removed Battery to Charge. Can't open Trunk - RESOLVED
First I only have Valet Key. Removed Battery to charge and closed Trunk. Hooked up Positive Battery Charger Cable to Post in Engine Compartment. Hooked up Ground to several places. Battery Charger message to hook cables to Battery. Does Battery have to be in Car to open Trunk? I have opened Trunk several times using this method but Battery was always hooked up.

Have you tried hooking up a battery to the under hood terminals?
NOTE: just to use the trunk button on the LH dash, or th button on the trunk lid ??
