Default XJ12 series 2: Gearbox mounting position

Hi
I am getting the gear box mounting back into the car. New rubber bushings.

When assembling with both end rubber washers (in the picture) + the middle bushing I think the gear box ends up too high ->
The prop shaft rubber part almost touches the drive shaft tunnel. I will try to make a picture...
Any tip on this?
How much is it supposed to "bounce" once put back together? With only the spring it gets really bouncy... Just did that for test.

MMMMMMM,

Those are spring seats, and NOT bushes in the true sense.

BW12 trans has one each end of the spring.
TH400 has one only on the bottom.

Have a read, BW12 is basically the same as the 6cyl, which is at the end of the scribe.

1976 is a maybe???? year, BW12 or TH400 trans.

Hi again
I got it a bit better but still doesnt seem ok... hmm
It would be a great help if anybody could take a picture how the gearbox mounting should look from underneath (V12 + borg warner). I guess a straight 6 with borg warner would look the same?
I know all the heat shields and stuff will be in the way but maybe something is visible still.
