Default XJ12C - Creating circuit diagram

Hi
I am trying to get the electrical systems to work and have to figure things out since it was partly wrongly connected before I took the car apart. Existing wiring diagrams are too confusing for me and
I got tired of making notes on paper so I decided to put it into MS Visio and thought I should share the files here ongoing as I proceed. See attached pdf.
I am doing one system after the other, lets see how much I really document.

Maybe it will be usedful for someone else? Do you have any tips or wishes what you want to see? Do we have some shared file storage on this forum?

note; I am not an electrician so not drawn according to any fancy standards...

br
Marcus

Nice job, so far. Could be very useful for someone tracing a problem in a particular system. What you've done is similar to what Jaguar did on later model year cars. The separated diagrams became necessary as the wiring became increasingly complicated. Take a look at the link below to see what they did on the later XJ6 and XJS. Those diagrams may give you some ideas.

Hi
I updated my wiring diagram. Dont think I will update again for a time.
Note: This is only how it is done on my car. No idea how much is valid for others...

I appreciate the effort that went into this. Any chance of adding the fuel tank solenoid/switch/gauges system?
