heres atech question I have a 1986 xj6 that runs high idle when cold ,,,,1200,,, and seems rich. When warmed up seems to run fine... I took the top off the air flow meter ...it looks like it has adjustments but In the manual it says to test by replacing ... thanks for any info

 

More likely is that you need the "capacitor mod" to fix cold engine "double fueling". I've posted the info here so an archive search will probably find it.

If not I'll post the info tonight
