I used Aldridge in GB. Seemed to me the best value & service.

Fitting them yourself is a huge chore. Appears easy but it's not. Worth paying a professional IMO.

I used Lseat.com for my Range Rover. Did it myself. Hard, but not too! Will probably use them again on my 77 XJ6-C.
I have RR pics if you want to see them.

Mike, I used https://gahh.com/amshopby/?vehicle_make=233&years=4897 and am happy with the covers. They matched the original color perfectly. I thought about using https://www.worlduph.com/jaguar/xj_series/ but they were twice as expensive. I have no doubt they are a quality upholstery maker.

I took my driver's seat cushion apart and repaired the leather a few years ago. The leather was generally dried out and had a crack/rip along one of the seams. First, I gave everything a good soak with neatsfoot oil to bring some suppleness back. I took the cover off and repaired the seam with strong thread and calico. I also reinforced a few areas that looked feeble or were developing cracks by gluing calico to the back. Before and during the process of removing the covers, it's a good idea to take photos to record where all the hooks, clips and electric cable go. As I recall, some of the hooks were pretty tight and required a good tug to remove them. I also took the opportunity to add some extra foam and wadding where it seemed to be compressed or lacking. Once everything was back together, my repaired seam doesn't show: I can find it because I know where to look, but no one else would see it. And overall the seat is much improved. Since then, the seats have had a professional clean and conditioning and look fantastic.

which seat is it? I have a complete set of seats removed from my 1984 because I found a complete set made in vinyl, wonderful upholstery job that some expert did.
The leather in the passenger seat and the rear seat BACK are near perfect, the rest are shot.

Mike….surely your best bet is to find a local upholsterer in Accra. I have no doubt you will get a decent service for a fraction of the price of importing ready-made covers from overseas

I second LSeat. While the color was not exact it was very close but an very happy with them.
I purchased front seats covers and did them myself. Learnt a lot along the way (2nd one lot easier) . I plan to purchase the rear seat covers later in the year.
Lseat prices are a lot less than other companies, while not as high quality/ soft as the originals still very good. My covers were shipped to me within a month (I live in aus).
