Hi experts,
Has anyone here ever tried to replace the series III wiper motor with any modern car wiper motor for faster wiper operation?

Will that be doable?

Seems the original installed wiper motor is very slow on operation.

The Lucas DR3 motor used in the 1960's Jaguars like the MK-2 and the S type is very fast compared to the Series 3 XJ-6 motor. But it doesn't have the Delay mode.

However, the DR3 connects to the cable in the same way as the sluggish XJ-6 motor. and Parks the same way. If you don't care for the Delay feature, a DR3 might be an option. You only need to make sure the motor is RHD Park or LHD Park.
