16-inch Starfish wheels?

16-inch Starfish wheels?
Is there such a thing?
My tires are in decent shape, but the time will come when they will need to be replaced. I really really like the starfish wheels, but much of what I've read suggests to move up to 16-inch rims for all sorts of reasons, and I'd have no problem doing so if there were 16-inch starfish rims. Are there?
Thanks!

I just bought a beautiful '94 XJS V12 coupe and the rims have some cosmetic damage around the edges of the rims, appears to have been done by a tire mounting machine and/or they balanced them with clip-on weights. They look like starfish wheels, are 16" X 7" , the vertical surfaces are silver (clear coated???) and the horizontal surfaces (spoke edges, lugnut holes, etc.) are a gold finish, clear coated. I didn't care for the gold so I found a nice set of all silver ones and put them on my coupe. The wheels are straight and true and the damage is only cosmetic. If you think you may be interested, I can take some pics to send you.
Thank you,

I don't believe the original starfish wheels were ever offered in 16". From 1994 on a 'modern' interpretation of the 5 spoke design was offered in 16". They are flat faced and not curved like the older design.
I have them on my car and like the look.

My '94 XJSV12 had OEM wheels that looked like yours except some of the surfaces (sides of the 5 spokes, lug nut cavaties and part of the rims) were finished with a gold colored epoxy. The car also has a gold stripe down both sides of the body and a gold plated Jaguar hood crest. Was this gold decoration standard on the '94's or part of some package? Thanks for your help.
Bob
PS The Climate Control System is working fine.

The gold turned 5 spoke wheels were standard for the V12 in 94. The silver colored 5 spoke wheels were an option on the 6 cyl. My car is a manual transmission and the 5 spoke wheels were standard along with the sports suspension.
I'm not sure about the gold hood crest but I think it was standard for the V12 (at least every 94 I've seen has it) I think the stripe may have been a dealer fitted option as I have seen V12's with and without.
Glad you're staying cool
Allan

I attached 13 photos to this reply, hope they came out OK. I'm sure you will have some questions, so look at them and fire away. Did you look in My Garage at the photo of my Jag with these wheels on it?
Take Care.

I am just realizing that I have probably overwhelmed you with too many photos and no explanations. I wanted to show you the 4 wheels as a group and then closeups of each wheel so you could see the cosmetic damage around the rim edges that I spoke about. Some of the photos did not come out well and have probably put some doubts or questions in your mind. I will be glad to answer any questions and/or take more photos of specific areas that you want to see. In any case, if you are interested in buying them, I want $40.00 per wheel + shipping. Without a firm quote from Fed Ex, I can safely say the cost will probably be around $100. for the 4 rims. So you are looking at approximately $260. total if my estimate is close. Hopes this helps you.
Take Care,
