Default 1977 XJS flasher unit

Hi, can anyone help with a wiring diagram for a 77 flasher unit. I have the workshop diagram but it only shows the relay and not the flasher unit wires. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response, but I have a flasher unit which only has 3 wires going to it. The wiring diagram i have shows a relay as being no 154 and says that 25 is part of it????

I have a 1976 a 77 should be the same car, the flasher is a small black box located right on top of the fuse box, it is mounted to the top of the fuse box with 2 small nuts and bolts ( tiny ) is that what you are looking at?

How many wires are going to it? I think you are talking about the relay.

Hello Nudge

My electrical drawings also show that the flasher unit is 25 which is part of 154
Part 154 is the Hazard warning flasher unit

Believe what you are asking is the black box closest to the drivers door - which has 3 wires coming out of the bottom.

About centre of the photo

I have not traced these wires yet - so I could be wrong

If you can send some photo's through of the E type jag motor set up under that XJS - I would love to see that carb set up

Cheers
Steve

Thanks for that Steve, that really helps. I will send a few pics through shortly. I retrofitted the AC compressor down on the driver's side above the alternator.

Hi Steve, mine appears to be different, I have the same wiring diagram, which says that 25 is part of 154. But i have three wires coming off from the loom with a 3 post tridon flasher unit which was blown by a shorted wire at the ignition amplifier.
