Default 1985 XJS Coupe Parts needed(HEADLINER BOARD)

I did an inventory on my recently acquired 1985 XJS coupe. I purchased this car partially disassembled and did an inventory on the parts that came with the car.
One major item is totally destroyed.
I am in the market for a decent Headliner board.
If anyone has one for sale please let me know. If not can anyone tell me where I can get one?

The Myrtle headliners are very good, if a little pricey. They are fibreglass, and if you get one, glue a 1/4 inch of foam on the upper surface, otherwise it can boom against the roof panel when you shut the doors.

Thanks Greg. The cost of the headliner board plus shipping from England is $50(US) less than I paid for the whole car lol.
I am trying to locate a used one here in the US first before I decide to bite the bullet.

Hello Sanchez

Depending if you want to keep your car original or not - maybe consider doing what they do to the old trucks (hot rods) and apply insulation and fabric to the roof itself. Depending on how tall you are - this will also give you headroom.

This is on my to do list, but is not really high on the to-do list just yet

Of course if you want to keep it original - please ignore the suggestion

Cheers
Steve

If you are handy can you make a new on from fiberglass. Mine was badly damaged. You can see where I have repaired it and stuck aluminium foil to hold it together. I also glued fabric to back to stiffen it.
