Default Headliner Trim Needed

I have a 1988 XJS Coupe that needs the plastic trim that runs over the drivers side windows. Left hand drive.
What is the official name of that piece?
Anyone have one in good shape? Can't seem to find one anywhere.
AFW Barley interior-Trim AW..hope that's right.
Vin148779

Appreciate any help.

That is known as the cant rail; it is not solid, it is a plastic piece covered in material.
At least mine is; I recovered my own from the bits supplied with a roof lining kit.

Ok thanks. Having the correct name might help.
Sounds like this is a hard part to find.
Mine is not covered in material on right side.
I'll keep looking.

Default XJS part supplier

Contact LeRoy Sorrel in Jax, FL. parts@classiccargarage.net. He is buying XJS's that are write-offs. Then breaking down everything. I have met him and trust his judgment. I also have bought from him several parts for my 93 XJS coupe. Mert in Charleston.

I also need to replace this piece, it is generally very hard to find because its specific to the automatic seatbelts.

As someone else mentioned, if the issue with yours is that it is cracked somewhere, the easiest solution is likely to repair the crack and then cover the entire thing in headliner material. I suppose it is possible to recover in vinyl but it will be less forgiving. A decent heat gun would likely be necessary.

I glued mine where it cracked and then braced it from the back using a thin piece of metal.
