1989 XJS oil change

Will be getting oil and filter change on my 1989 V12, Is it ok to use synthetic or synthetic blend on it.

I use Mobil 1 15W-50. Since the V12 takes 10 quarts, expect a sizeable bill.

I just switched to Penzoil Ultra Platinum - Made with Natural Gas rather than Crude oil.
