Hello All. I'm hoping someone can help me out with what for me is a puzzle. I struggle with electrical stuff and really don't want to fry this new relay,,, so I could use some help.

I figured U(blue) would connect to C2, and the UR and UW would simply go to C1 and C4 but that didn't work so I stopped.

The original is/was a Hella relay. I should have thought better but my new relay unit is a Lucas relay. First,,, I hope the Lucas is a proper replacement...?

Anyways, below is what I'm looking at. Need to just swap the wires over but of course, the Lucas just uses a whole different set of numbers/letters/symbols and I can't find info I need to know which goes to which.

Any help is appreciated. I'm afraid to burn the damn thing.

The Lucas relay you've shown is a starter relay, not a headlight relay. That's why you're having problems ! They operate differently

Just looked at what I ordered,,, and what they sent!
They sent the wrong part...
No fun!
