Default 1990 XJS convertible antenna

My antenna does not go down, is there a way to check if motor is bad or maybe a fuse or loose wire.
Thank you

If you have a poke about in the space between the exhaust tunnel and the outer skin, near the aerial, you will find a largish green relay and also a line fuse. If the fuse is OK, then it is likely that the relay is stuck closed. Either buy a new one (it is a special one so OEM is required) or, carefully prise off the green cover and you will see a couple of contacts that look like old fashioned distributor points. If you clean these up and try it, the relay may well work.

I will try what Greg said first if motor is bad then I will buy the new that Orangeblossom found on ebay.
I have a new trunk lid spoiler on the way from UK so I must fix it.
