Default 1992 console removal?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me what holds the front of the console in place, I have the slope out & everything else is done but I can't figure out the front. I also have the side vent panels already off.
Thanks Bill

Yours is a facelift, so I may be incorrect. However, I think (like the pre-facelift) that you have to remove the aircon heater control knobs (just pull them) and then undo the round 'nuts' threaded round the knob stems, and then you can pull off the trim piece with the heater temp and fan speed markings, and this reveals two screws holding the console at the front.

The round 'nuts' are not easy to undo as you need a special tool, or two small screwdrivers and lots of dexterity!

Greg,
I read that in a manual for the older ones, so i gave a little pull & the knobs didn't move. I will try a little harder today & report back

The knobs definitely pull off.
