1992 XJS 4.0 Manual Transmission Shifter Linkage Bushings
Hi,
The manual shifter is quite sloppy and a couple of the syncros tend to grind. I would like to replace the bushings and assorted parts before opening up the transmission and replacing the syncros. I believe the transmission is the Getrag 290. Anyone here has been able to source out the bushings? My mechanic is trying to source parts but I though I would ask here as well.

I'd start by looking at the sleeve that fits in the bottom of the lever and the selector shaft that it fits to as possible causes of wear. Both available from Jaguar.

Bushes for gear change mount.
Jaguar sell one of the bushes the top hat one and the other I sourced off the Internet as it is just a plain rubber washer.
