I just bought a 2005 black Jaguar XJ and am wondering if I am going to be spending a lot of money in the near future on maintenance costs. I've been reading about it online and looks like there have been a lot of problems with the engine? Hope not. So far its been running smoothly, and my dad was the last owner so I know it was in good hands.

 

Stan, I am a little confused as to why you have posted this into the XJS section. You have previously told us that you bought your dad's 2005 XJ.
