2018 Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog (JEPC)
Good afternoon friends. First I apologize for seemingly spamming posts of various nature. I did want to share something exciting with you all. I finally figured out how to get a hold of and install the 2018 version of the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog and the interface to view it. This includes all Jaguar models not just the XJS. This gives detailed parts breakdown with part numbers. Seems like a good arrow in the quiver of ongoing maintenance. I compiled a shared google drive of the three downloads you need. WinRar to decompress files, JPart, which is the interface, and the actual JEPC database.
Instructions to the best of my ability and knowledge:
1. Go here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...j2?usp=sharing
2. Download all 3 files.
3. Install WinRar
4. Install JPART
5. Use Winrar to decompress the JEPC database to a location you remember. I did it straight to my computers "Documents" folder.
6. Open Jpart, go to top left find EDIT -> OPTIONS -> click SELECT FOLDER
7. Navigate to where you decompressed the JEPC folder and select the folder.
8. JPART will populate the data into its program.
9. Once that is successful navigate to the top bar on JPART where it says Models and choose your car.
10. Enjoy.
Let me know if this works. Again i apologize for my ADD fueled enthusiasm but that's just me.
Thanks all.
Mark

Thank you Moose! I’ve been searching for this but no other thread put it together so nicely! Worked like a charm and man is it awesome! Now if I can just find a service manual easy to use….yes, I do have the 10K page pdf that is a pain. Topix is not that user friendly either. Thanks again!

Tks Mark,
Remember that for the XJS and any of the classic Jaguar models, you don't have to rely on an older version of the Parts catalogue. The Jaguar Parts website enable you to view the parts catalogues of all the older Jaguar models together with availability and prices. It's always the first place that owners should look, irrespective of where they eventually end up buying their parts.

Hi Mark,
The Jaguar Parts Website is mentioned frequently here on the forum, being the only reliable source of part numbers. I'm sure that when you eventually get your XJS, it will become your go-to place (along with this forum)! See here:
