Default 5.3 vs. 6.0 transmission mount spring, same size?

Anyone know if the transmission mount spring is the same size between a 3 speed auto v12 and the later 4 speed auto of the 6.0 cars? Part numbers are different but need to confirm if they are the same size

5.3 (TH400 3 speed) CAC2371, goes to LCCC6759

6.0 (TH400 4 speed) CCC5763.

Apart from Part Number differences, NO IDEA.

Other than a LOT of stuff changed with the 6ltr beast.

Good luck

I measured a spring from an XJR, which uses the same transmission as the XJS, however it is a different part number. The XJR spring is 3" tall and 3-7/16" diameter.

The XJS 6.0 spring is still available from Jaguar quite reasonably.

thanks, this confirms sizes are different between the 2 springs.

6.0 4 speed auto spring is 3.5” tall and 3 2/16” outside diameter.

Don’t forget the later transmission is heavier than the earlier one.
