I have 1994 XJS. Is there a secret to removing defogger/ fog light switch on dash? It does have trip computer and factory stereo. Don’t want to damage wood trim.

 

On a pre-facelift, at least, you must CAREFULLY prize out the wood trim with the switch in it. The wood is just held into the dash with spring clips poking into holes in the dash metal. Then the switch can be released from behind.

 

I have a 94, you carefully lever the switches from the wooden trim.
