I have been trying to remove my starter. I have everything
off except the top bolt. I can't see it or feel it. I can
see a hole where I think the bolt should be. I pushed a punch
in the hole, but it only goes in a little bit. It almost
seems that the starter is held on by one bolt and a dowel. I
tried tapping the starter to see if that was the case, but the
starter doesn't budge. Any ideas?

I have both the 7/16 12 pt socket and the E18 socket. Tools are not problem, I can't find the head of the bolt.
