Trunk carpet and pad is in very nice shape. No stains or holes. Just needs a little new spray glue in a couple of spots adhere the carpet to the foam pad.
Didn't see the picture about the front outside turn signal lens' but all four are in find condition.

Good morning,
Yes I do but..........Mine has never worked properly. I am going to first see if I can get it working and if not will use parts off the Parts car to attempt to have a functioning system. Mine should work and I don't know why it is not. I have replaced the vacuum solenoid unit and the bellows is air tight.
I'll keep you posted. If you have any knowledge to share on what else I can check I'd appreciate it.

my car came with cruise control removed (WHY?? Ugh) I'd imagine the Palm book would be the first stop in diagnosing that.

The carpet came off the pad much easier than anticipated. Will make shipping easier.
I'll just roll it up with the signal lens' inside.

Right fender came off this morning. More screws and nuts than a funny farm.
Left wheel is still being stubborn coming off the hub. have to get that off to get the screws and bolts on that side but I know what to look for now.
With a little luck the motor and transmission might be coming out next weekend.

If the weather is nice I'll try to get the Delanaire 3 out tomorrow. I cracked the windshield a couple of months ago. I wanted to keep that but it wasn't to be. I'll cut the rubber molding to remove the wind shield. Looks like that will make getting to everything much easier.

And the windshield is out. Wish I was that patient two months ago. More trim pieces off as well. If I could get the wheel off the hub the right fender would be off 10 minutes later.

Looks like I have to knock the pins out upwards to remove the doors. Top one will be no problem. Bottom one more difficult. The hinges are not bolted to the body. Heavy duty rivets but not bolted.

I helped a friend pull the motor from his '91 XJS today. Went perfectly.. Great learning experience. Motor is out. We then separated the transmission. The V12 is a big best and very impressive out of the car. Two people makes it go much easier. He'll come up here in a couple weeks and we'll get the motor out of this car;

And the doors do have bolts...... They are just on the inside of the doors. 3 per hinge, top and bottom, 13mm. Undo those and the door comes off. Unplug the wiring harness and you now have spare doors, or doors for sale. Going to need a large breaker bar for the tire. Front bumper came off easily. One of the back tubes is a little sticky. It's close though.

Gas tank is in very good condition. I am assuming it will fit all convertibles up to '92, maybe beyond.

Brad
The H&E fuel tanks are one-offs for H&E cars only.

It does, but the twin tank and lift pump arrangement means that if someone needs one, there are only a very few available. So worth preserving the tanks and waiting....

Great progress made today with the help of a friend.

Passenger door is off, both fenders, both bumpers, the dash, the left front wheel was broken free, the entire car is elevated on jack stands all around now for access to the transmission bolts. Once those are off she'll be ready to have the motor pulled.
Decided to remove both the front and rear suspensions once the motor is out. I'm taking Greg's advice as well and will take out the gas tank, at least the one in the trunk. Someone will want it at some point.

Many great odds and ends as well as major parts still available.

Engine is on the heavy duty pallet I built for it. Transmission comes off tomorrow along with the Alternator and P/S pump. Air pump and plumbing are off. Throttle tower, plug wires and distro cap are off. Large A/C bolt on rear bracket is being stubborn. Once it lets go the compressor is off. She'll clean up nicely.

Suspension looks like it should come off pretty easily. The climate control system unit is tougher than anticipated. Not sure what is holding it in at this point. Still have to remove the convertible top assembly, 1/4 windows, and gas tanks. That will be it. She will be nothing but a shell at that point.

Doors, hood, fenders/wings, trunk lid, lattice wheels, have all been salvaged. Bumpers, trunk carpet, etc....are all here. Nuts and bolts, screws, wiring harnesses, fuses, have all been saved. If it was in good condition i have kept it. The rotted, rusted or not worth it category stuff got thrown out.

I will soon start advertising over on the market place as well as on some racing venues and possibly E-bay. Happy to help anyone here on this site since so many have helped me so very much.
