89 XJS ABS no power
After much grinding of teeth and foul words we have finally solved the no power to the ABS pump. The culprit turned out to be a relay between the two 30 Amp fuses on the fuse panel behind the auxiliary panel on the passenger side and the main connection plug at the pump on the inside of the engine compartment.
We had to take the glove box out to gain enough access and then swapped relay's (yellow color). This has been stumping us for some time. Very glad to finally be able to move forward. Still have to bleed the rear brakes according to the very specific procedural instructions so as no to burn up the pump motor.
Last major item is no start. Verified I have spark and fuel pressure. Also new gas, new distro vacuum advance, new coil, new plugs, new 8mm wires, new fuel hoses, reconditioned EFIs (cleaned, new filter baskets, pressure tested, spray pattern tested),
First check is to swap out the ignition amplifier.
If that doesn't work will check all EFIs with Noid lite test kit, Bosch #2 fitting.
I should note this car has not been started since approximately 2004/5.
So very close to success I can practically taste it.

BradsCat,
Well done on the ABS resolution!
As regards the no-start, you mentioned that you have spark and fuel pressure (at the rail?). Are those both under cranking conditions, or without cranking?
