89 xjs conv. Pass door stuck closed

My right door is stuck closed. Feels locked. Sprayed tons of lube. Anyone have any ideas that don't involve removing r side seat and door panel.

Hi m8 i had exactly the same problem on my 89 5.3 xjs v12.

I tried turning the key in the lock and tons of lube bt no joy. Im afraid removing the door panel is ur best bet

There was recently a long thread with another fellow who had a similar problem. He eventually I believe removed the interior rear panel from under the quarter window and undid the striker lock hook from the door pillar.
I will try a search and see if I can locate the thread, it was very detailed and very use full.

Greg. Thanks for the link. Door opened. Also electric locks magically started to work. Dont know why. I wont question it.
