92 convertible spare
Doesn't it use the same holder as the earlier ones except it uses a lug instead of the nice spin on knob? The cover is carpeted instead of vinyl and doesn't have a hole in the center right?
I don't know if it uses a specific type of lug nut or just another one that you would have on the other wheels.
idk what you are missing but THIS Welsh Enterprises, Inc - Jaguar XJS Body Fittings Boot (Trunk) Area Parts - Spare Tire Hold Down Bolt - XJS
is what goes through the tire to secure it. And like I said yours I think uses a lug while the earlier XJS uses a black knob so you don't need a wrench

Here is an older vs newer

and newer like yours

the knob tends to stick out, which is why I am figuring you wouldn't use it, but you could still use the same securing piece granted it is lug nut sized? Hopefully someone else with a year close to yours will chime in soon.
