So I decided to freshen up the interior of the car today.. which is much easier with the roof down. However, my merry cleaning attempt was foiled almost instantly by two problems:

1) The passenger seat doesn't move forwards or backwards. The seat back does move, but the base doesn't. Is there a way of moving it manually so I can get to the mounting bolts?

2) Will seats from a 95 fit in a 94? I know they'll *fit*.. but are the electrical hookups the same? I'm looking at an interior tomorrow.. that's supposedly been "dry-stored".. but I'm curious as to whether all the connectors will be different.

 

I believe the seat control modules are the same on the 94-96 cars so the connectors should work.

Before you do that though, have you checked the fuses? There are two fuses, one for the recline function and the other for the fore/aft and lumbar.
