Default 94 XJS Wheels

I have a 94 XJS Convt. And am looking for some aftermarket wheels. I know they are 5 lug @ 4.75, however I do not know the factory offset. I have been looking at the Coventry Hornet rim 17x8 with offsets of 25mm. Don't know if it will fit. Claims are that it fits XJ6 1994. Are these rims the same size and offset?

Hi.
I'm in Wiltshire, one of the southern counties of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, member of the EEC and long standing partner (proudly) of NATO, UNISEC and so many international organisations that I could not possibly mutate enough arms to be able wave flags for all of them.
My point is; this is an international post, if you just put 'USA' as your address then you will be dealt with (by us non USA people) as a USA person.
Whereas, if you are from, lets say Kentucky (horses), Alaska (snow), Area 51 (please PM me, I have some interesting theories on that one.) or
Sorry, mi bad, been foruming too long tonight, need to stop and go to sleep.

The Revolver wheels from early XK8 will fit and look phenomenal on the XJS, especially in the chrome version. Just 1/4" spacer for the front wheels. For tires to go with them, preferable the P-Zeros, as in the XK8 cars.

Cheers,

Hi Dr. Wood,

I am positive that a wheel that fits a 1994 XJ6 will fit the 1994 XJS. Others will chime in on this but as far as I know should work. I will say though that one of my favorite XJS factory wheels is the factory honeycomb wheel that was available on the 1994 XJS. Have you looked at this factory wheel as a option?

Apparently mid 90s, early 00s BMW wheels fit. Who's our member with the gorgeous orange XJS with BMW wheels again? Mish_Mish?

BMW wheels: therein lies the selection - mesh, spoke, deep dish, you name it.

I have the honey comb wheels currently, however was, looking to update it to 17" and a more modern look like the Coventry Hornet rim. Was looking for the original setback to see if it would fit.

Cool

I have a set of 17" xjr wheels & they have Pirelli asymetrico 255/45/17 tyres on them - I'm thinking of replacing the 18" speedline mistral wheels that are currently on my car - they have 225/40/18 tyres on them & the car does "crash" & "thump" a bit on an anything but smooth road surface. I assume the xjr wheels will fit based on the picture of the grey convertible.

IMO non stock wheels are all wrong on a XJS with its clear late 1970's design. These XJR wheels however look perfect. Very good choice
