1995 xjs convertible. Both seats jammed in back position. The recline works on both but seat move forward or back does not. Replaced passenger side control module with no luck. Checked fuses under dash and under hood. Any ideas.?

 

Do you her any clicking when the seats position buttons are pressed? Do the mirrors move? I think the seats move only when the door is open or if the key is in the run position. Did the car have any water intrusion? Do the courtesy light work on the door controls? If not then water may have ruined them. Check the connections in the respective kick panels. There are two larger connector blocks, one red one black.
