About to Buy a 1994 XJS

Just Bought a 1994 XJS
A continuation of the looking at thread but wanted a fresh start. Now I'm about 80% I will buy the 1994 XJS cabrio that I was visiting with you all about in the the other thread. Couple of Questions:
1. What service would you recommend doing on it. It looks to have been well serviced over the years by the local Jag dealer. I want to get a fresh start on it and do preventative service. Besides basic oil change, what should I check or change? (bonus question: is there a facotry service manual available?)
2. Trying to figure out the paint: It's listed as champagne but I'm getting lost in the paint information on here. It's serial is 190438 (which btw seems to be a late 1993 car right?) It's a beige white - is it 'oyster'? Also, is it single stage or clear coat paint?
TIA,
Tony
Dealer is fixing the A/C and making sure the brake light is not a problem so I bought it.

change oil and tranny oil just so you know where they are. The engine oil is probably fine but alot of people don't change tranny filters and fluid often, at being a gm400 you sohuld be able to get a kit for it at a local auto place for around 10 bucks.
uh...air filter, coolant, diff oil, lube bearings and joints, check brake pads, lubricate hinges and linkages, check power steering fluid, check electrolyte level in battery etc. personally i'd do the brake fluid because its another thing people ignore, other obvious little things like wipers. I doubt it needs belts but you may want to check tension. isn't this the same car with a rake? so the springs people were talking about.
I could literally list all the thing in the jag manual under maintainence but im trying not to list really obvious stuff or much of the "check" stuff. Obviously if you have the money get plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
You should be able to get a service manual on Cd-rom for it off ebay or something, i think they are about $30. The real books run more like $150.
you mentioned the a/c wasn't cold, buy some freon and try charging the system.
i know nothing about paint sorry lol

Congrats on the purchase. Post a photo when you can.
On the paint question, this link below has the color codes by year. You should be able to see a 3 letter code for exterior and interior color on the VIN sticker on the door jam. There was a Oyster Metallic Clearcoat (code SDE) in 1994. Also a Tuscany Bronze Metallic Clearcoat (SDD). I'm half color-blind, so not sure if either those would be considered 'champagne'.
