Default AC charge port valve replacement

I have a leak on the AC charge port and want to change .
System still pressure in it and I wanted replace without degassing.
Are the valves replaceable?
What size do the Jags use?
Seems the standard size is 1/4" or 5/16" but the Jag ones seem to be MUCH smaller and standard tools and valve replacement is not possible.

Appreciate any advice

Are you reffering to the schrader valve?...if so, most schrader valves leak a bit. You should have a cap with a seal in it that screws on to the valve. If the cap is lost or has a bad seal then head down to you local auto parts store and get a new cap...screw it on finger right. No de-gassing required.

You can't replace a schrader valve without whatever it is holding in coming out. No different than removing one in a tire.
A sealed cap is probably the easiest fix for the time being

Yes, I am looking atreplacingbthe Schrader valve.
There are fittings that connect to the port, allow you to remove the valve those under pressure close another valve on the tool and remove v and replace the source Schrader valve with out losing the gas.
The ones I have seen work on 1/4 inch I'd fittings but the jag ones are smaller than that and I was wondering what standard they comply to.

Any 1/2 decent a/c shop will have a recovery machine that will recover all of the freon and then recharge it. This is the best way to do it as you'll be able to charge by wight which is the correct way of charging.

Thanks all. Turns out that the ports are not Schrader valves and like many Ford's use a Teflon/rubber ball valve that is not replaceable.

I had one fail to seat on my 97 after I replaced the compressor I just took an awl and poked the ball/seat a few times and it sealed right up. They do get hung up and can be "prodded" back into a good seat. The "Cap" is really not there to act as a "seal" for a leaky valve just an EPA feel good cap.
