Default Accelerator Question

Guys,

When I start my car, the accelerator is a little hard to press down to move the car, but if I allows it to warm up for a few minutes, then it works fine. What might be the issue? Thanks...

Dirty throttle bodies? Sticky/corroded cable?

You disconnect the cable at the engine end and then, next morning, see of the pedal is easier to operate. If it is, then the problem isn't related to the cable itself.

But why does it work fine after the engine is warmed up?

The dried up grease melts or the sludge on the throttle bodies softens.
