Ok, start again.
A lot of people have read your question but don't understand what you are asking.
Ask again, take your time and use some punctuation so that we know what you are looking for.
We are here to help but we can't help if we don't understand the question.
Is it about the radio/stereo?
Is the AJ8700 a Pioneer, Bosch, Subaru....?

ok I am bad at English I guess. I am going to install an aj8700 jaguar radio in my 88 xjs.I can not get the antenna to power on. I think that it should be the blue wire to power the antenna. Has anyone ever taken a radio apart to fix this problem. I know that the antenna works I ran a hot wire to power it and it works.

I think you should have a blue/red wire to the motor ('up' voltage) and a blue/white wire to the motor ('down' voltage)

The blue/red goes to terminal 5 of the relay and the blue/white goes to terminal of the relay.

This from an '87 diagram but should be the same, as the AJ8700 came out in 1987

Cheers

"AJ" is Alpine/Jaguar, 8700 is the model. Used from 1987 to 1992 or so

Alas another problem the wire you describe was to the old antenna system. They changed it in 88 I think, no such wire exist from radio unit. So I am back to a blue wire that should power out to antenna I think But no power. I contacted a radio repair shop they want 400-500 to fix radio as new Guess I will have to think of this again.

The two wires I described were from the antenna relay to the antenna motor. Not from the radio.

I'll do some more digging but I don't recall a plain blue wire in either the earlier or later wiring schematics.

Cheers

Is there a solid white wire coming from your radio? On the AJ8600, that is the power antenna wire.

According to the site below, the blue wire from the AJ8700 is for a light dimmer, and isn't used on Jag's.

Ok so tomorrow I am going to test every wire than I will post results for future ref . I can believe this blue wire is for dimmer. and the 8 does have a dimmer wire that is in the harness I may have it hook up wrong. Should be interesting to figure out every thing . I will post results.
